Dad goes on a bike ride, finds $20 and a cat, takes both and uses the 20 to buy food for his newly-adopted fluffball: 'I've never seen the cat distribution system include money'

The cat distribution system works in mysterious ways. We have said that before, and we will say it again, because somehow, despite everything that we have seen so far, the system still manages to surprise us. And seriously, we have seen the system do some amazing work. The system has once delivered a kitten to someone via the Starbucks drive-through, as a man pulled up to it with a backseat full of kittens. We have seen a kitten literally fall into a man's house through the window, without any explanation. We have seen a kitten jump out of nowhere and adopt two golden retriever doggos who were on a walk with their owner.

And yet, with everything that we have seen, we have never, not once, come across the cat distribution system supplying the soon-to-be cat owners with financial support. But we suppose that happens too sometimes. Because it happened here. This father found not just the cat but also a twenty dollar bill, and, as intended by the cat distribution system, that bill was used to buy cat supplies. Purrfect job by the system.

  • This man got blessed twice in one day, and we could not be happier for him. The money, the cat, we don't know which came first, but we do know that the correct decisions were made with both of them - taking both first then spending the money on the cat. Purrfect.

  • The fact that this is one of the cutest cats that we have ever seen is a bonus. You are going to live such a happy life with this little guy, and he is going to pay back those $20 a million times over with the amount of joy that he is going to bring you.
